When an individual needs emergency cash for vacation money, auto repairs, business opportunities, house payments, medical needs, etc., they can come to us.
We explain to them that a title pawn secured by a lien on their vehicle title is, by Georgia State Statute, a 30-day situation. It is NOT a loan. Our customers come to us because they are not in a position to go to a bank or commercial finance company. We don’t do a credit check because the collateral is their vehicle title.
Our business plan involves keeping our operating overhead as low as possible so we can offer title pawn rates as low as 7.99%. Many of our competitors charge 25%, which is what the law allows. What does that mean to you? That means that we really care about our customer. That means you can do a 30-day title pawn for $1,000 and as long as it is repaid in 30 days or less, pay back just $1,079. If you went to a bank they would probably charge a $100.00 application fee just to do a credit check. With proper identification, proof of insurance and residence, and a job, you may get the money you need in as little as 30 minutes.
We first got into this business in the early 90’s. In all that time we have had to repossess only one car. And if that individual would have returned our calls it would not have happened. To repossess someone’s car is the last thing we desire to do. After all, that is no way to build a faithful customer base.
Keep in mind, we are not financial councilors, but we are aware that "the sun does not shine on everybody every day,” including Donald Trump. When a client first sits down with us we ask them if they have asked a family member or friend for financial help. We remind them we are a last resort, but we suggest different voluntary methods to help them get through their financial dilemma.
In closing, we simply provide a source for short term cash by offering renewable title pawns on cars, trucks, SUV’s, Motorcycles, and RVs at some of the lowest rates in Georgia. We also pay top dollar for used unwanted or broken gold jewelry. Our gold scales are state certified. Call for current prices. Vacation money is an emergency?! If you haven't saved money to pay for a vacation, why are you going? I'm all for selling stuff to get money, but the idea that a vacation is an emergency is re-fricken-diculous. This attitude is indicative of the financially retarded, I-want-it-now sheeple in this country. Why don't you buy a house you can't afford too? Oh wait... you already did and now I have to help bail you out. Dave Ramsey for President.
Fred - Let me tell you what an emergency vacation. One where you find out your child has 6 mos to live and wants to go to Disney World. One finds out they only have 6 mos to live, and wants to do something fun before they die. A family member out of town dies unexpectedly. God forbid anything happen to you Fred where you will need emergency cash.
You are correct "not fred".....fred seems to be pretty shallow and self serving. Maybe he needs another beer.
I agree with Fred... I think his point was more toward those who go into debt just to go on a vacation because they think they've "been working too hard and deserve it". Funeral trips are not a vacation. I'm pretty sure he wasn't talking about dying kids either. "Not Fred" missed the point - probably because he holds pain in his heart and a tear in his eye for a dying child. If Fred was shallow, he'd have bought a big house and fancy car he couldn't afford just to keep up with the Jones'. If Fred was shallow, he wouldn't save his money and live beneath his means so that he could donate to various kid's charities. Fred is definately self serving, because he doesn't feel the need to feed off the government or the taxpayers. Fred pays cash for his beer. I'm with Fred. I'm also opening another beer. Cheer's Fred!
