Though our furry friend Phil may have let us down with his groundhog promise of six more weeks of winter, it won't be long before we'll start to feel the changing of the season. When Spring arrives, so do the greenhouse goods. From perennials to annuals, hanging baskets, and potted containers, flowers are sure sign that spring has arrived and with it, a renewal of growth. This planting season, shop No Longer Bound's Greenhouse and you will be contributing to a different kind of growth.
No Longer Bound, a men's faith-based drug and alcohol Regeneration Program, operates the greenhouse, which is well-stocked each year with a wide variety of annuals, perennials, and even many unique and hard-to-find plants. Plants are carefully selected for varieties that thrive in southern gardens and are grown by the men participating in the program. Over 70,000 plants have been grown and the greenhouse also features a variety of hanging baskets, mixed containers and potting soil. The greenhouse is managed by Blake Chapman, who emphasizes that qualified staff members are on hand to help make the right selections for everyone's space. They will even review pictures and garden dimensions to provide more custom guidance.
The greenhouse at No Longer Bound is located at 2725 Pine Grove Rd. in Cumming. Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday beginning April 6. All proceeds from No Longer Bound's greenhouse industry go back into the funding of their Regeneration Program, which recently expanded into a 40-bed facility after the addition of 12 beds in December.
